Mended Heart Records (MHR) is a project-based collective that operates as an independent label.  Based in the talent mecca of Asheville, NC, Mended Heart brings artists and bands together for collaborative recording sessions and events.  Our label focuses on presenting clients with opportunites to explore, refine, and share original music.

Sound recordings made for the label are added to the MHR Catalog and promoted for licensing opportunities. Pending placements, royalties earned by the selections will be shared between the label and the recording artist on a percentage basis. Artists will always retain copyrights to their compositions and lyrics. 

In 2010, Mended Heart Records plans to acquire festival opportunities for affiliated artists and will record a benefit compilation CD that will feature singles from rising area bands.
